Caterpillars

Caterpillars crawl around, climbing things, and never really get anywhere. They climb climb climb, over one another. Sometimes they throw each other off high places and caterpillars are smashed on the ground. They love to eat eat eat, consume consume consume, and a caterpillar doesn't really know much else but the caterpillar way of life. Sometimes a caterpillar will find another caterpillar to share the caterpillar life, but that is not enough for some caterpillars.
Some caterpillars sense—they know—that something stirs inside of them, some transformative essence they can't really describe. Some will be driven crazy by that something else and distract themselves by climbing things, reaching for a high up place, yet they can only go so far before they discover there is nothing up "there," a meaningless climb all the way up. Some will ignore that little voice inside and just eat eat eat and crawl around for the rest of their caterpillar lives.
Yet, some venture out into the forest and notice little sacs hanging from the plants and trees. Some will see some caterpillars wrapping themselves up in some strange sacks they call cocoons. Some caterpillars think these wrapping-cocoon caterpillars are the escapists, the real crazy ones, shutting themselves out from the caterpillar world, yet the really crazy caterpillars enclose their existence into darkness, giving up the caterpillar way of life, recognizing that they are not really caterpillars, but they are really something else, something they don&39;t even know the name of yet, but all they know is they have to go through the darkness and isolation of the cocoon to find out. Months go by . . . The other caterpillars go about climbing and eating and making caterpillar love.
But deep in the forest a strange creature slowly tears away at the cocoon wrapping from the inside. The cocoon begins to shake and in an instant is shed and out comes a fantastic creature with bright beautiful wings and amazing colorful patterns. She is a butterfly, she flies effortlessly through the forest, lingering with the wind, spreading joy to anyone that sees her. In every pause she touches the forest world with her magic, creating new possibilities with every movement of her mystical wings.
The creature lands on a forest wildflower. It unrolls its feeding tube and gently penetrates the stamen of the flower. The butterfly spreads the love seeds of the flower all throughout the forest. Then more flowers are born. It takes butterflies to make a world full of flowers.
The caterpillars never know they can become butterflies until they completely decide to let go of being caterpillars and risk everything.
Wildflower, a delicate, sweet-smelling wild flower, mixed with an equal amount of the two life force energies of the universe, splashed with purple light, which blends it all in, under the light of the moon . . . a dreamer . . . through love manifested for the benefit of all Beings Everywhere.
